About this model
Audax, errands, bike-packing, commuting, or just seeing friends — you can do it all on the Tempo.
The key to the Tempo is the handmade frame, constructed from premium, triple-butted steel. We worked with steel manufacturer, Columbus, to create a bike you’ll want to rack up the miles on.
The front triangle is made from premium, lightweight, heat-treated Columbus Spirit steel, with tubes that are custom designed by Condor. The rear stays use Columbus Zona, a high-strength, triple-butted steel, that transfers stresses evenly with a greater level of compliance compared with Columbus Spirit, a steel originally developed for race bikes. We designed it this way because we know you’ll want a responsive ride to shorten the commute time wherever possible, and a smooth ride to enjoy longer routes when time is on your side.

Forward facing dropouts
Sometimes punctures happen, and no one wants to spend ages at the side of the road. Unlike traditional single speed frames, you can drop your wheel forward, just like a road frame. This makes wheel changes easier, especially if you use mudguards, as there is no need to remove the guard to remove the wheel from the bike.
Carefully selected premium steel
The steel used on the Tempo is custom designed by Condor in partnership with the oldest bicycle steel maker in the world, Columbus. We use their premium Spirit tubing and form our own custom-shaped downtube. A custom, double-butted head tube made from Columbus Zona for greater strength under the stresses of braking. The pairing of Columbus Zona and Spirit steel at the rear stays ensures comfort as well as handling stresses of being under load. Zona is one of Columbus's most fatigue resistant steels.
Redesigned performance carbon fork
We completely redesigned the carbon fork for 2023. The carbon monocoque fork now features a full carbon steer to reduce the weight as well as provide more clearance for wider tyres. The straight fork legs transfer a better road feel, whilst the high grade carbon fibre takes away the buzz of rough road surfaces that can zap energy.
BSA bottom bracket
Condor frames feature a BSA bottom bracket shell. It's an overlooked part of the frame, but a very important one. The lowly bottom bracket doesn’t get much attention, and if it's working properly, that's the way it should be — smooth and silent. BSA is a universal easy to fit system preferred by component makers Shimano and Campagnolo.
Fits 28mm tyres
The Tempo has space for wider 28mm tyres without compromising the ability to fit a full set of mudguards, making it ideal for those who ride in all weathers. Wider tyres deliver compliance and grip when riding over cobbled surfaces and longer distances.
Load up
Fit a full set of panniers, load up with a front handlebar rack, or choose our steel forks if you want to fit a full front rack to maximise your carrying capacity.
Endurance geometry
The Tempo is designed to feel agile and precise whether you're loaded up with or without bike-packing bags or panniers. The frame features our endurance geometry, the same as our best-selling Fratello. The chainstays are fractionally longer than a performance or race bike, allowing for natural flex and compliance, resulting in even more stability.Up front, the head tube is slightly taller so you’ll feel more comfortable with a relaxed arm position and less aggressive lower back bend.
Rust inhibiting treatment
After being welded, filed and cleaned, our steel frames are dipped in a rust inhibiting treatment. The treatment provides a degree of protection, particularly inside the frame, against corrosion caused by acidic substances (including water). Read more
