Mavic Cosmic SLR 32 Disc Wheelset
When you're gunning for the KOM on the toughest mountain climbs, nothing gives you more of a boost than a light and snappy carbon wheelset. This newcomer in the Cosmic family takes over the venerable Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL Disc. It features a reengineered carbon rim that's the lightest in its category. Its 32mm airfoil shape slices through wind, and because the rim is made specifically for disc brakes, you'll have more confidence and control on the descents.
The rim is crafted with a new laminate and our exclusive Fore Carbon technology that leaves the upper rim bridge intact and reinforces the rim only where needed. This saves 40g per wheel. The spokes attach to the rim without any need to drill the upper rim bed, so no rim tape is required. That means more weight savings (30g per wheel) and less hassle. The new shape of the rim bed makes it easier than ever to mount and remove tires, and you get super low rolling resistance with our UST Tubeless setup. No tube means no friction, and more air volume means a smoother, faster ride. It also uses our patented elliptical spokes to save another 5 watts and make you faster.
The new Infinity hub platform optimizes spoke lacing for efficient power transfer through highly controlled spoke tension. Our Instant Drive 360 freewheel, coupled with our automatic bearing preload adjustment (QRM Auto), provides fast engagement, high stiffness and added durability. It's available for Shimano and SRAM XD-Road and can convert to Campagnolo with an optional driver body. It's compatible with 12x100 axle up front, 12x142 rear, and you can convert to Quick Release with the supplied adapters. For Center Lock disc rotors only.
These wheels are designed, engineered and patented by Mavic in Annecy, France, and are 100% handmade in our European carbon factory.

- Pair without tyre: 1410 grams
- Front without tyre: 640 grams
- Rear without tyre: 770 grams
