Condor Handbuilt Disc Wheelset with Shimano Ultegra RS770 Hubs
Handbuilt wheels are perfect for riders who want a smooth and complant ride that is unique to a wheel built by hand. Easy to service and great for rough Tarmac and rolling terrain. We paired our aluminium disc rim with Shimano's tough premium-level RS770 thru-axle disc hubs to create a handbuilt wheelset that is perfect for everyday commuting, performance riding, training and winter riding. Ideal for road riding and training especially only cobbled roads, rough and uneven road surfaces.
Double Butted Spokes
The wheelset uses spokes which have a thicker gauge at the hub end and a thinner gauge elsewhere, offering a good balance of strength and weight. This creates a better ride feel, durability and fatigue resistance.
Shimano Ultegra RS770 Disc Hubs
Designed for use with Centre-Lock Disc rotors for secure hassle free setup. The Ultegra RS770 hubs use super quick engaging freehub body with pawl engagement every 10 degree giving near instant power transfer. A special Boron Nitride machining process is applied to the cones for super smooth rotation. The hubs have an excellent sealing performance through the use of low friction Labyrinth and contact seals, and an internal grease sleeve. The hub is made from cold forged aluminium hub shell with anodised finish.
