Brompton launches adventurous new Explore limited edition folding bike
Makers of the finest folding bicycles, Brompton have unveiled their latest limited edition bike, which is designed for adventure and long distance riding. Sold complete with 28-litre roll-top bag with range of spare, the bicycle is fitted with low-ratio, 6-speed gearing for maximum exploration ability.
The build uses Brompton M or H Type bars, which provide an upright riding position and are better suited to longer rides. The H Type bar is ideal for the tallest riders or those wanting the most upright position.
Retailing from £1,525, the bike also comes with enough spares to keep it rolling through the toughest of conditions. This includes two inner tubes, spare spokes, a chain link, two sets of pads, gear and brake cables, and a folding Schwalbe Marathon Racer folding tyre.
Bundled with a Brompton toolkit and pump, like a fully-equipped Land Rover, the package might also prove popular with commuters wanting to project a more rugged image while pootling to the office.
