Summer is in full swing, and there's no better time to bolster your two-wheeled knowledge and steal some impressive-sounding opinions?
To help, we've rounded up seven of the internet's very best bicycling podcasts — each slightly different, insightful, and often hilarious.
1. BBC BeSpoke
The BBC's cycling magazine programme, presented by OJ Borg, sees the team review the latest sports news and get OJ to try the latest technology and cycling fads.
2. Wheelsucksers
Founder of London Bike Kitchen, Jenni Gwiazdowski, and Look Mum No Hands' social media maven, Alex Davis, are an incredibly funny pairing. Together the duo laugh and joke their way around the world of cycling with all manner of guests. Perfect if you want a different slant on everything bike related.
3. Life in the Peloton
Mullet sporting and moustachioed pro rider, Mitch Docker, knows the pro peloton inside and out, so it comes as no surprise that his podcast is one of the most insightful and well-connected available. Each week, Docker and his team, EF-Drapac, analyse the recent races and reflect on personal experiences as domestique riders.
4. Stanley Street Social
One of the best sources of high quality cycling world commentary goes out via Australia's Stanley Street Social. Presenters Campbell Flakemore and Alex Clements' weekly show features interviews, opinion pieces, and reports from a week in pro cycling.
5. Ask a Cycling Coach — TrainerRoad Podcast
One of the world's most popular training apps puts its team of coaches to work on a weekly podcast. They ask listeners to submit their questions on absolutely anything, and the coaches give their opinions based on their different experiences. Everything is covered, from low cadence training to how to get the most out of a foam roller.
6. The Move with Lance Armstrong
Whatever your opinion is of Lance Armstrong, he never fails to capture media attention. Last year his 'Stages' podcast was an almost overnight sensation. If you missed it, Lance and Austin radio DJ, JB Hager, provide quick-witted opinions as they watch every stage of 2017 Tour de France.
Whatever you think of Lance, he is well qualified to have an opinion and so he's back with The Move, covering the world's most iconic cycling races. It's typical of the rider, who's never afraid to take centre stage with no filter.
7. The Cycling Podcast
This podcast is sponsored by Rapha (so, naturally it's uber-stylish, and yes, you can get a podcast cycling cap). Each 30-minute weekly show features award-winning authors, journalists, and publishers Richard Moore, Daniel Friebe, and Sky Sports Anchor, Orla Chennaoui. The three strive to provide insight, analysis, and commentary on the latest race action, and dive into the latest drama to hit cycling. Look out for the sporadic episodes of "The Cycling Podcast Féminin", which are focused towards women's pro cycling.
