Two-tone lacquer fade is hand painted, meaning no two bikes are the same.
Inspired by Amsterdam 9 Straatjesis (Dutch for Nine Streets), Brompton's latest bicycle features a two tone fusion colour way, and is a nod to the stylish and colourful shops in the iconic canal-district area in the Netherlands.
The Nine Streets, available in S and M type, is the first Brompton model ever to have a colour fade, and will be available at the end of August – of course in limited numbers. As with all Brompton bikes, these are handmade, but the limited Nine Streets bikes are also hand painted. The two tone red and blue is lacquered manually, so no two bikes are the same.

Brompton's home city is London where its inventor, Andrew Ritchie, first made the Brompton bicycle in 1975. It has since made over 500,000 bikes with 45,000 of those being made in 2018.
