This is the sprocket used by the Italian National track cycling team. Manufactured from heat-treated high-resistance steel with WC/C tungsten carbide and carbon surface treatment.
This particular process reduces friction between components without the need for any type of lubricant, while guaranteeing tolerance to high mechanical loads.
